On Monday the 7th of September 2020, Nye Veier, representatives of the Nowegian road authority, signed the contract with the Belgian construction group Besix and the Italian Rizzani de Eccher for the design and construction of a new four-lane motorway from Moelv to Roterud. The project includes a world's longest bridge using structural timber and an 11 kilometer section of motoray.
The contract has a budget of 2.55 billion NOK
