MIRAGE - Festival For The Art of Cinema

MIRAGE is an international film festival in Oslo dedicated to the art of cinema, with a particular focus on creative, artistic, and innovative forms of filmmaking that often blur the boundaries between documentary and fiction. The festival combines film screenings, talks, exhibitions, performances, and professional industry events.

On the programme, Hair, Paper, Water…, a Belgian-French-Vietnamese film by Nicolas Graux and Trương Minh Quý, presented at the Mirage festival.
Filmed over several years, the film takes us into the world of Cao Thị Hậu and the Rục community in Vietnam, weaving together family, memory, language, migration and the transmission of cultural heritage.
